Question about Govee String-Downlights

Is it possible to connect the downlights together? I need approx. 8m and would like to buy the product twice and connect them so that these complete 8m are only illuminated via one socket connection.

Hi
Shortening is possible, of course when they are off.
Then there is a teach-in function so that the app knows how many lamps are still connected.

Lengthening should not be possible, as the power supply unit is only designed for this length.

No, unfortunately this is not possible from my point of view, as the lights are addressed because they can be controlled individually in the app.
