Question about Creative BT-W6

Is it possible to connect my Sony Over Ear headset to any notebook via bluetooth? I have a ThinkPad business notebook which does not allow direct Bluetooth connections, but only works/connects via a dongle. Is there a third party dongle that can do this?

According to my research, the Creative BT-W6 can be used to connect the Sony Over Ear headset to a notebook, even if it does not allow a direct Bluetooth connection.
