Question about Digitec Ethernet Patch Cable RJ45
Is it possible / easy to cut off the connector on one side of this cable and fit another? If so, which plug / tools would I need for this?
Well, it's not quite simple. It's quite a fiddly business.
The connectors are the trickiest part of the whole cable, if it's not done perfectly, it's no longer a Cat6a cable.
If at all possible, I would make the hole bigger where the cable has to go through. The plugs are not cheap either:
