Is it also possible to set the LED to always light up green - even during the day? And can the LED be switched off completely at night?
The LED only turns green briefly when you turn off the light in the room where the Nest Protect is located. Green means "all is well", yellow means "there is a problem". The LED does not light up during the day or at night (to save energy as the device is only battery-operated).
The night light (white LED - night light function) can be switched off. The night light only comes on briefly when you walk past the Nest Protect (detects clear movement) and only when it is dark. This is a very practical function.
