Question about Sennheiser BT T100

I connected Sony headphones, but it's designed to connect any Bluetooth device, so it's bound to work.

The device uses AptX for the transmission of the signal to the headphones, their high end speakers are not listed on the aptx website. The Sennheiser device can control up to 2 headphones, but even then only aptx is used. If the headphones cannot use aptx, a lower standard is used.
Sennheiser writes about the use of the BT T100 that it is only intended for Bluetooth headphones.
