Is it also compatible with a Phillips remote control?

we cannot guarantee the functionality with non Sony products.
If you want to connect the TV via the BLUETOOTH function, the TV must be compatible with the BLUETOOTH profile A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile).
If you connect the TV to the HDMI OUT (TV (ARC)) and TV IN (OPTICAL) sockets, the audio input socket is selected according to which audio signal is fed in first.
