Is a web browser installed? Or can you just install the chrome browser then? Can these andriod boxes stream movies online via browser?

Browser not, but Chromecast is preinstalled and allows streaming without problems. However, a browser can also be installed, but I did not install it myself because I did not need it, but there are instructions on youtube.
