In principle, can these 3 Nest WiFi routers also be used independently of each other in different households (and thus independent Google accounts)?
so if you buy the set of 3, you pay more for each than when you buy the set of 2:
set of 3: 439/3 = 146 each
set of 2: 261/2= 130 each

Yes - you can
I have two installed in my flat and one set up independently in the workshop.
It works fine.
WPA3 is disabled by default. If you need the service, you can simply switch it on via the Google Home app. Caution: WPA3 is not "backwards compatible".
A minus for the power supply with a round plug instead of a USB-C plug.
All in all, a very stable mesh system that you can also use as standalone devices.

Yes, the pack contains 3 equivalent WiFi routers. (As opposed to the main unit + 2 satellites that you implicitly feared.
