Hi Patricia
The Dyson AM09 Hot Cool moves air in COOL mode just like a conventional fan. If we want to increase the room temperature, we use the HOT mode. The preheated air is distributed well in the room, and the whole thing can be set via a temperature preselection.
Counter-cooling is not possible if the room temperature is too high, at most a better distribution of the warm air as with a fan.
The dust is not filtered.
