In my flat, the Connect Box 3 Fibre (Sunrise) is in the power box (or fuse box), from where the signal is distributed to various rooms. Can I use this device, which I would connect to a LAN socket in one room, to extend the LAN access for connecting other devices (e.g. Apple TV or PS5)? Would there be a loss of signal for each connected device?

As the previous speaker has already written, a single unifie switch makes little sense. In your case, a normal unmanaged switch will suffice. There is only a loss insofar as all devices share the bandwidth. In practice, you usually don't notice much of this because not all devices need bandwidth at the same time.

This switch is suitable for this. There is no noticeable "signal loss".

To operate Unifi devices sensibly, you need a Unifi Network Controller, i.e. typically a Unifi Cloud Gateway https://eu.store.ui.com/eu...
