Sony UBP-X800M2
Bluray Player
I'm looking for a DVD player that compensates for the extreme volume/noise difference of DVDs so that I don't have to constantly compensate with the remote control. And I'm surprised that no device advertises this equalisation as an advantage. Chat GPT answers my question about such devices in first place with the Sony UBP-X800M2. Because: "This player offers a dynamic volume control function that adjusts quiet and loud scenes." Can anyone confirm that this device is volume equalising, or is there an even better one in this respect?
You would have liked to help, but I personally have never noticed it until now, even though I have played both DVDs and 4K Bluray. The sound was always balanced.
I confirm
The player is so quiet that I haven't noticed any running noises so far.
I have not yet noticed any regulation as such. It may be automatic.
I have no information about another brand that is supposed to have this function. Sorry and good luck.
Yes, it can, but I haven't tried it in practice yet because the player does its job almost inaudibly. I'm very happy with it in combination with the Vidda C2 Ultra we tested. Panasonic has something comparable, good and expensive. I hope I have been able to help a little with this HB
