I'm a little short at the back because the sofa is against the wall. I've read that you can also place the surround speakers at the front with the corresponding 'front speaker mode'. Has anyone tested this? Does this make any sense at all or can you go straight for a high-quality soundbar without additional speakers?

I put the satellites next to my sofa, which is also stuck to the wall, and it works. Otherwise, I think it's a shame and a bit pointless to put them at the front.
