If the thing costs so much, it should be possible to get a decent connection with Swisscom TV without judder and artefacts. But that's not the case! What could be the reason for this? LAN and WLAN are perfect with up to 800Mbps. and at a distance of 20 metres almost the same up/download as with the Swisscom router. When connecting the TV box, however, only jerks and artefacts... According to the reviews, this Orbi should be a dream. A nightmare to install... Is there something I don't know or have overlooked? Been testing, changing and fretting for 2 full days already. Thanks a lot for your help!
Swisscom can supply a WiFi network extender which attaches at one end to the WiFi router and the other end to the Swisscom TV box. It creates a network solely dedicated to Swisscom TV and is invisible to other devices. I have one at home and it solved my connection problems with Swisscom TV. I hope this helps.
I don't use Swisscom TV, but Netflix, for example, works perfectly without any problems. For me, it works without any problems via the router and also the satellites. Does Swisscom TV work without Orbi?
And the function with the link between router and satellite via LAN also works great for me.
