If I take the battery out and the device gets power, does it start automatically? I currently have a Huawei E8372 LTE data stick in the car that switches on as soon as I start driving and I have Wi-Fi in the car. Now I would like to use 5G and I'm looking for a compact router that starts automatically as soon as it receives power.

As soon as I plugged in the turned off Acer Hotspot, it turned on automatically so yes, in my case, it started without any human interaction even if I would have preferred it not doing it.
