I would like to replace my Netgear router with an AP-HD. Since PoE, I also want this US8-150 switch. As far as clear - but how can I connect my modem (UPC)? Directly to the switch? Thank you!

You connect your modem to e.g. port 1 of the switch. The new WLAN AP to port 2 and your other devices to 3-8. I would recommend that you deactivate the WLAN access point in the UPC router and only surf with the AP-HD.
