I would like to connect a pair of headphones for my husband to the Swisscom Box via the Marmitek, so that he can watch TV loudly (hard of hearing) with the headphones. At the same time, however, I would like to watch TV at a normal volume. Is it possible to control the volume for the headphones and TV speakers separately with this box?
did not work for me. Picture and sound were not in sync. My solution was: wired. Use the optical connection of the TV. Connect the optical RCA cable to the Fiio Taishan, from there with a 3.5 jack cable to a Liam&Daan headphone amplifier with which you can control the volume independently of the TV. Connect the amplifier to the headphones. My headphones are a Beyerdynamic DT-990 Pro. Investment all together approx. 250,-CHF
The Marmitek BoomBoom 55 (transmitter) is only a converter between the input signal and Bluetooth (a wireless protocol). The Marmitek BoomBoom 55 is a transmitter.
It requires a receiver and possibly an amplifier. The volume in the headphones depends, among other things, on the amplifier (volume control).
The headphone Beyerdynamic DT-990 Pro is a headphone with a wire connection that must be connected to an amplifier behind a Bluetooth receiver.
It depends on the amplifier whether the volume can be adjusted and how loud the signal is in the headphones.
