I would have to mount the panel about 1 metre from the camera How long is the connection cable from the panel to the camera?

The camera is supplied with a cable of more than 2 m if necessary, which can be connected between the solar panel and the camera.

I don't know exactly how long it is, but no less than a couple of metres, I also mounted the panel a little over a metre apart and the cable was perfect
