I switched from the 540E to the 1250E. With German plugs, but no problem with two suitable adapters, and of course Powerline is always the last solution. But we have to have WLAN in the basement for the home automation and primarily for the fitness room and for streaming with Plex and such, 50 Mbit/s and more are necessary. With this device we now achieve a good 90 Mbps, which is absolutely top. With the 540E it was just 27 Mbit/s... So it's not just the power grid, but also the devices. I can recommend it, as long as you have equipped everything else with Fritz products.

This is because the higher the standard of the devices, the higher the transmission rate.
Tips:
- Powerline adapters should not be operated in a power strip; always directly on the wall socket, otherwise they will pick up all the interference.
- If the circuits are not on the same fuse, the data rate is miserable. There are phase couplers that an electrician can install.
