I switched from a Sunrise Fritzbox 7490 to 7590. Unfortunately, it only supports supervectoring and not g.fast. Unfortunately, there is no supervectoring in Switzerland. So I would have to switch to a FB with g.fast for a fast connection. Unfortunately, Sunrise does not offer anything from FB. So I would have to become active myself. My questions: > Does the Fritzbox 7583 provider work with Sunrise and g.fast? > Where can I see whether my copper connection supports g.fast? > Does it matter if the Fritzbox is not from Sunrise? Thank you very much for your support.

Thank you very much for your answers, I will try it out. According to Sunrise, 275 Mbit/s should be possible for me. With my current FB 7590, I get 120 Mbps.

Hello
My Fritzbox works perfectly with Sunrise. Performance increase from 250 to 510 mbit. I live very out of town.

Hello,
I also used the FB 7583 briefly with Sunrise, but only for Internet (and Sunrise TV App on Apple TV). Configuration was mega easy, as it has prepared profiles for various providers on it, and you can simply select "Sunrise" there and it runs with G.Fast.
However, the GB 7583 can't do bridging, which is a no-go for me, so I returned the product. Now I have "DrayTek Vigor166 Gen2" in use, and it works 1A including bridging. However, I do not use telephony.

Hello
I have since 1 years Fritzbox 7583 with Sunrise
with g-fast, the installation was very easy, the phone works fine too.
With my house installation with 500 mbit/s I bring full performance with Fritzbox 7583.
