Question about Sonos Arc

I still have many older Sonos products and therefore run all my devices on the Sonos S1 app. Does the Sonos S1 app also work for this new Sonos Arc soundbar?

I also still have old Sonos Play 1 with soundbar and still use the Sonos 2 app. Of course AirPlay 2 is not compatible with the older hardware, but the App2 is still somewhat useful for the old Sonos.
