Question about Netgear R7800 Nighthawk X4S

I recently switched from swisscom to sunrise... moderately satisfied... tv is ok, internet speed via lan is slightly slower. everything is still within reason. but the router is the biggest joke ever! wifi is weak and my hard drive connected to the router hangs all the time, so i have no access to all my data. never a problem with swisscom. now my question: which routers are compatible with the sunrise network? i ask this because i have read that there were problems with some models with the connection to the sunrise network. thank you very much
