Moisten the pad with clear water before use and only clean the windows when the sun is not shining. This worked perfectly for me when the sun was shining 1 day later. You may still have residues of window cleaner on the glass from your previous cleaning method. So far, I have only used a microfibre cloth with a little methylated spirit and, if necessary, a little vinegar on the outside to remove water droplets better.

I had the same problem but only with our large sliding windows. I selected a programme where the robot interrupts the programme to moisten the pad again. And I did the cleaning when there was no sunlight
