I only have one (output) cable for the internet at the fuse box by the inter-distribution. If I plug the cable zbw into the distribution -> living room, I only have Internet from the socket there. I would like to have internet from the socket in the office as well. So the question is, is this splitter the right one? Unfortunately there is no Lan channel with 2 connection heads.
If you want to turn one connection into several connections, you need a switch.
Oh, dear. No, it doesn't work like that. These adapters can only be used in pairs. 2x signal in and 2x signal out on the other side. And also only with 100Mbit/s.
You need something like this if you want to connect several PCs via Ethernet:
Netgear GS305-300PES (5 Ports)
With Ethernet, each PC needs its own line.
Yes and no. You can't do this with just one. You need at least two of them. But I would advise you against this. You would be disappointed to find that a connection of max. 100 MB/s is possible with this solution.
I would recommend placing a switch in the fuse box. It costs only slightly more (if at all) than two of these adapters. Connect the switch to all LAN sockets in the fuse box using a patch cable.
