I have some things via the NVidia Shield or the Nintendo Switch, which together with the Sonos Arc never manage more than stereo. I don't know exactly why. But I assume that the passthrough from the Samsung TV to the Sonos, even though the TV has eARC, has something to do with it. PS5/XboxSeriesX, on the other hand, have no problems.

I have the av receiver as a 'central' one, which gives no or fewer problems. There are enough inputs. And this onkyo supports chronos by default, which is done via the menu. Chromecast is also built-in, but only sound. No picture?! The tongle then provides the remedy - gruz
