I have received the bin, but I can't find the inner ring. Is it specially attached somewhere for transport and you have to find it first, or should it already be sitting nicely at the top of the opening when it is delivered?

It probably fell in at the top of the rim under the lid (where the rubber feet are) or inside. Both of the Rotho ones I got came with one.

I bought a Rotho Paso four years ago and it never had an inner ring. If you pull the bin liner over the edge, it holds perfectly.
