I have owned this microwave for a few days and am actually very satisfied, until I read the operating instructions, which are really a 100% short manual. According to the instructions, it should be possible to set the wattage manually when defrosting. For example, only 160 W for butter, but we haven't managed that yet. I hope someone can help us.
If you press the power button several times, you can set the power.
The display first shows "JET" with a flashing W below it (Watt).
Pressing the power button several times switches between the power levels:
(JET, 0, 160, 350, 500, and again from the beginning). What the zero is for is not clear to me.
JET stands for 700 W power.
I interpret "Rapid Defrost" as a fixed 160W power setting, because the defrost symbol also lights up at the 160W setting (see above).
And in the defrost programme, you use the +/- keys to specify how heavy the goods to be defrosted should be (weight symbol flashes). The defrosting process continues until the message "turn food" appears.
We have rarely used the special programmes so far.
Another thing: The crisp plate with crisp function did not convince me.
For defrosting, select Defrost. Then you can increase the weight in 25 gram steps with the + button. This also works for me when defrosting bread.
To Renéjacque. Thank you very much, that works perfectly. I have just found out that you can also enter the wattage Manuel for normal heating if you prefer to heat it up with less wattage.
