I currently have my soundbar connected "optically" to the TV (tentatively also via HDMI). Both have worked without any problems. The subwoofer connects via Bluetooth, I mean with the soundbar (not with the TV), but I must confess that I don't know this 100%). In any case, I didn't have to run after a cable. My TV has Bluetooth.

Answer

Addendum: My iPad sees both the TV and the Soundbar TAB6305 in the Bluetooth. I therefore assume that the subwoofer connects to the soundbar.
