Question about TP-Link Deco X60 (2-pack)
I have moved house and unfortunately I can't run a Lan cable from my living room to my study. In order to still get internet on my PC (without a wifi module), I got a Fritz!Repeater 1200 AX and connected it with a suitable lan cable (maximum distance between the Sunrise Connect Box and the repeater is 10 metres and 2-3 walls). However, I now have repeated internet interruptions and sometimes weak internet on my PC, despite a 1000 m/bit line and a suitable Lan cable for performance. - Would the X60 Mesh System be suitable for my case? - Is the two set sufficient for my case or should I rather take a three set? - I need at least 4 Lan connections for my devices in the living room. Do I replace my Sunrise Box completely with the Mesh Router and I only have 1 Lan connection left, or can I still leave the other devices plugged into the Sunrise Box?
In this case I would get a Devolo Magic. It works perfectly in our house over three floors. Devolo products are also available with Wi-Fi.
We live in a four-storey house and have always had problems, both with FritzRepeater and with Devolo.
With the Tp-Link it now works perfectly: The Sunrise Box is in the basement, where the external NAS hard drive is also located, connected to the Sunrise Box via a LAN cable. We have an Ethernet connection on each floor, for which we use three additional connections of the Sunrise Box.
The two TP-Links Deco are on the ground floor (connected to the Ethernet connection) and on the first floor. The Sunrise wifi is switched off.
The TP-Link's wifi works fine up to the second floor. We can also print from anywhere via wifi (the printer is on the first floor).
Only the TV is connected directly to the TP-Link.
We are very satisfied with the TPLink Deco 2-piece set.
