Question about Overmax Camspot NVR 4.0 Network Camera Set with Recorder

Hello I had the same problem!
Problem Solution: If you have plugged the mouse into the recorder, press the right mouse button, main menu, network, network type, click on the arrow and select DHCP and save. This will dial the unit into the home network, of course the unit must be connected to the router with a LAN cable. The recorder is set to Static IP by default and creates a 192.168.0...... but most home networks are 192.168.1....... as the mobile phone only dials into the home network it cannot connect to the recorder unless it gets an IP address from the router. After that, the app works perfectly.

The only unfortunate thing is that digitec can't help you with this problem, because they don't even know the products they sell. digitec is only focused on sales and not on customer support, so you can order the same device directly in China for a lot less, and you often get even better support by e-mail than from digitec, an iFrma from Migros and in Switzerland. Very unfortunate, I don't think this was what Dutwieler had in mind!!!
