I have connected the solar panel cable to the camera's power connection. However, I have noticed that the battery is not charging. What is the reason for this?

Enough sunlight?
I've also had this in the dark winter months. Too much shade or objects that were 'in the way'.
Otherwise, it could be that the plug wasn't plugged in correctly, or simply a defect.
So difficult to say
