I have bought 4 Deco's and set them up as follows in our house, which has 3 floors: The main Deco is connected on the ground floor as the main Deco (Ethernet cable). The modem is in the basement, where the distributors are in the individual rooms (so I can connect the device from any room with the Lan cable). I have a Deco in the first floor and in the basement room, which I would like to connect with the Ethernet cable, as I have a connection for the LAN cable in these rooms. In the living room I would like a Deco without an Ethernet cable, as I have no LAN option there. Can I now connect these 3 Decos with LAN? I currently have a speed of 10Mbps in the room, which is extremely poor as I have a 10GB line. The connections to each other are also rather poor.

I recommend the following configuration: Modem --> main decoder --> distributor. The main decoder should be connected as close as possible to the modem, otherwise you will lose a lot of speed. I once wanted to connect the main decoder only after the distribution, but it didn't work over 2 floors. In the end, only the main decoder should be connected to the modem, nothing else. Everything else is connected to the deco.
