Question about TP-Link Deco M9 Plus Triband WLAN Mesh Set of 3 (AC2200)

I have an RJ45 connection in several rooms and a switch in the basement that is connected to these room connections. Is it possible to connect more than one Deco to the wired Internet source, so that each Deco functions as a complete AP with a direct wired connection and one still has the mesh functionality in parallel? Ethernet backhaul seems possible, but if I interpret it correctly, the Decos would have to be wired to each other. Is my understanding correct that the following setup should then work? - UPC modem placed in basement - Main deco in basement, gets internet from UPC modem - Cable from port 2 of main deco goes into switch in basement - Decos in room are all connected by cable to room socket. - the decos then draw an address from the main deco via cable/DHCP
