Hello I had a similar problem. I then contacted the customer support. They then sent me this link. And lo and behold... everything worked.

To complete the APN configuration on your Reolink Go device, please follow these steps.
Download the attached file "my_custom_apn.txt" to the root directory of the SD card.
If you download the attached ZIP file, you still need to decompress (unzip) the file first.
Remove the battery from the camera, then insert the SD card (leave it in the camera) and reinsert the battery, press the reset button with a pin to reset the camera to factory settings. 
Important: Reset button must be pressed long enough.
APN configuration successfully completed.
