I have a laptop that is almost 2 years old. Can I still buy this Care Pack for this PC or is it only possible with new devices?

I am not 100% sure if the statement applies to this HP Care Pack, but until recently the general rule was: "It is recommended to purchase the HP Care Pack together with the hardware. The Care Pack can also be purchased retrospectively at any time within the HP standard warranty; however, the term always starts retroactively from the hardware purchase date."
