I have a fibre optic connection at home, but I don't need the 10 Gbit/S plan from Galaxus. Can I take out the 200 Mbit/S plan and use my own router that is suitable for fibre optics instead of the router supplied?

Yes, you can take out a 200 Mbit/s plan and use your own fibre optic router. However, it is important to know that this plan is provided via HFC (Hybrid Fibre Coax) technology, not via direct fibre optic connection.
The HFC plan uses fibre optic to the cable distributor in the street and from there runs into the house via coaxial cable. The Connect Box 3 router supplied is designed for this cable connection. If you want to use your own router, it should be suitable for HFC cable connections, not for direct fibre optic connections (FTTH).
If your house has a pure fibre optic connection, it could be that the HFC subscription is not technically optimal for your situation. In this case, I recommend that you contact customer service to clarify whether the HFC subscription is available and suitable at your location.
