Question about Microsoft Office 365 Home
I have a desktop and laptop that both need Office - you can use this licence on up to 5 devices. But according to the Microsoft site, each device must have a different Microsoft account. My laptop and PC have the same MS account, so can I activate 2 of the 5 devices with the same Microsoft account or do I have to log on to the laptop with a different account?

You log on to the Office 365 website with the same Microsoft account and install Office 365. 2 licences are deducted for 2 PCs, then you have 3 licences left. It does not matter whether you have local accounts, domain accounts or Microsoft accounts on the PCs. This runs completely independently.
I can use Office on 5 devices with one account. In addition, I can register another 4 accounts on 5 devices and
with 1TB OneDrive each.
