Question about D-Link Dgs-105

I have 2 Ethernet outlets in each room of my flat. I have to "lay" them in the distribution box from the router, so to speak, so e.g. port 5 only works if I lay a short LAN cable from the router to socket 5 in the distribution box. My question: I want more outputs in the living room than just the 2. Can I connect such a D-Link to an output and then have 4 additional ones? Comparable to a multiple plug? Thank you!
