Question about Olimpia Splendid AQUARIA S1 12 P
I had thought that the appliance would switch off automatically when a certain humidity level was reached (if set, of course). But somehow this doesn't work and the operating instructions supplied are unfortunately not much help either. Has this worked for anyone?

Setting the humidity level
Press the "Humidity level setting" button (D4) to select the desired humidity level in the room.
in the room:
"CO" (Continuous cycle) ---> 30% ---> 35% ---> ... ---> 85% ---> 90% --->
"CO" (continuous cycle) ---> ...
The adjustable value must be between 30% and 90% at intervals of 5%.
If the humidity level in the room is equal to or higher than the set minimum value, the
the compressor restarts after three minutes (compressor recovery time).
After a certain operating time, if the humidity level in the room is lower than the
set value, the compressor switches off temporarily.
If the appliance is in operation ("ON" mode), dehumidification may be temporarily interrupted at regular intervals,
to defrost the heat exchanger.
When the appliance is switched on, it starts in "Dehumidification" mode.
