"Please note that the installation of a fiber socket requires the consent of the property owner and/or management."
Question 1: do I need to ask if my property management agrees to install fiber, before I place the order to Galaxus? .... or alternatively Galaxus would contact my property management instead?

From the same webpage, I saw:
"The costs are not covered by us. If costs arise, you will be informed in advance. Depending on the situation, these costs may be covered by Swisscom / Sunrise as part of the basic fiber expansion. Otherwise, the costs must be borne by the owner or tenant. The latter applies if your landlord refuses to cover the costs."
Question 2: if my landlord (property management) refuses to cover the costs, how much do I need to pay (good to have an estimation)?

Answer

1. this would have to be requested from the property management company itself. We do not do this.
2. if the house is already connected, the costs amount to several hundred francs according to an internet search. A completely new installation would cost several thousand.
