Question about BKS HomeNet Patch Cable

I can’t get two 2x2 cables to work when they are plugged in next to each other in a normal 4x2 plug (i wanted to use them for different data devices. If i plug in one 2x2 cable it works but obviously with 100mbit max. Are my plugs broken or is it not possible to use two different data connections at the same time?

is the corresponding side in the distribution panel been feeded with a connection to a switch/router?
