Question about Ring Alarm (Gen 2) Starter Security Kit
I bought this product and wanted to install it on my holiday home abroad. However, the app says that this region is not supported. Why is this not supported? I don't want a plan like Ring-Protect-Plus or something, I just want self-monitoring. I heard that the frequencies vary from country to country. But that shouldn't be a problem according to this website (I want to install it in Bosnia): https://www.silabs.com/wireless/z-wave/global-regions. So now briefly: What is not supported or what would happen if I were to install it?

Probably for legal reasons, Ring does not (yet) work everywhere.
"Currently Ring Alarm can be used in the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. Ring Alarm does not fully work in the other European countries. Please check again later to see if Ring Alarm is also available in your country."
So unfortunately Ring does not seem to work for Bosnia yet.
Without a subscription, you can view real-time video for Ring doorbells and security cameras and answer doorbell notifications as they happen. However, without a Ring Protect plan, you won't get video recordings of those events.
