I bought this computer about 1 year ago. I am completely satisfied with them. The only shortcoming is the memory size. Now I wanted to install an additional 1000GB Tera SSD, so the question is whether there is another slot on this mainboard at all or whether I have to replace the installed 250GB (with operating system installed). I would actually like to do without that.

Unfortunately, I was not able to determine from the data sheet whether there is still space available. I was only able to determine that there is still a 2.5" slot.
I also wonder whether the warranty on a complete system is voided when the case is opened.

Answer

Certainly don't remove the 250 SDD and replace it with a slow SDD! I ordered my MSI with the 1TB variant (along with the SDD), so it MUST have space. Without 1TB it doesn't work at all. Check again please.
