I am satisfied with the weather station. During operation I hear a "beep" every 90 seconds: What does this mean? Can I switch off the sound?

Hello,
I don't have a beep, but I think I remember that it has to do with the transmitter's battery. Low battery condition. Or the two units are too far apart.
Otherwise google the instruction manual.
