I am looking for a free-standing induction hob that allows me to "fry meat" without an automatic overheating circuit. With my current induction hob, the overheating protection constantly switches on when I want to fry meat. For vegetables and pasta etc. the plate works great. Is there a recommended product that allows me to cook/fry everything? Many thanks - Dhr1

I have been using the appliance for about 1 year. When I heated a 1 cm thick metal plate, the protective function was triggered for the first time when the metal was clearly blued. The only criticism is that the timer function can only be used in 5 minute steps. MFG Valentino
