Synology DS920+

I am going to get a Synology NAS. I have two interests in this: a) Storage of films and series to access them via TV. Synology offers a media server app. b) Storage of files, especially pictures. I don't necessarily need to have films and series backed up. I will certainly back up the pictures via RAID. Here I was thinking of a RAID 10. Now my questions: should I rather buy two separate NASs or can it be set up so that films and series are not backed up, but the pictures are via RAID? In terms of products, I was thinking of either a Synology DS218play or Synology DS920+.
"I will certainly back up the pictures via RAID."
a RAID is not a backup!
A second NAS as a backup is only useful if the two NAS are physically separated from each other and not directly next to each other, because of lightning, fire, water, etc.
The Synology DS418 can also do this job, or the even faster DS420+, but I strongly advise against using a 2 bay NAS, because such a system can no longer be upgraded cheaply afterwards.
A DS920+ would not be necessary, the advantage of the DS920+ is the possibility to additionally connect a 5 bay drive enclosure extension, only if this were planned would a DS920+ be worthwhile. A DS418 is easily sufficient for playing videos. It is optimised for 10-bit 4K H.265 video transcoding via Video Station software.
Regarding the RAID level, my suggestion is Synology Hybrid Raid SHR-2, which uses two disks for parity in the 4Bay NAS, i.e. two of the four disks could fail at the same time and the NAS would still be alive (better than RAID 10).

Synology Hybrid Raid is far superior to the classic RAID and should be used in any case in the Synology NAS.
