Huawei B525S-23A or better TP-LINK Archer MR400? what are the advantages and disadvantages? I would use the LTE router with a Salt sim in a 5 room flat....

Hi.
Been using this router for about 6 months with a Salt sim, has always held up great but use an external aerial as we live about 2.5-3.5km from the nearest aerial but still get 60-80 download and 70-80 upload rates with 14-20 ping. So great compared to the meagre 20 down and 4 up we had earlier. We use the router in conjunction with a Fritzbox for the phone, has worked great so far. If you have any further questions, just get in touch.

I have both in use. I think the Huawei is better because it has more features!

Hello, I have been using the Huawei 525S for some time now. It works reliably and the connection is also very good after testing several mobile devices. The only thing that bothers me is the limited setting options. There is no option to set your own DNS server, which I personally find very unfortunate. So I have to set it up separately on all devices.
Many greetings

Hi. I have been using the Huawei router for about 2 months with a Sunrise SIM in a 4.5Zi / 125m2 flat. Download speed around 100Mbps, upload also around 50-80Mbps. We mostly use 3-4 mobile devices (Android/Apple) plus Apple TV. I also have a Synology NAS connected via 1Gb LAN. At peak times, 4 people are streaming TV (Netflix, Youtube etc). Everything works absolutely great! The only disadvantage is that you can't configure DNS servers manually via LTE. This is only possible on the Ethernet WAN connection, which I don't need. That's why I had to enter the DNS manually on the end device. Unattractive, but it works. I can't say anything about the TP-Link.

Hello
We have been using the Huawei continuously for some time with a Swisscom subscription as our sole Internet access (SME) and are very satisfied with it. WLan and Lan devices are constantly connected. Remote access to the devices is possible. The administration of the router is self-explanatory. We have not regretted the purchase so far. I don't know the other router.
