Question about Electrolux Window kit

How well does this kit protect against noise? Since I live very centrally (one of the reasons why I want air conditioning is that I can't ventilate), good noise protection is imperative for me.

This kit does not protect against noise. The warm exhaust air is merely bundled and directed outside through the kit. However, I find the exhaust air noise relatively quiet and not disturbing.
