How often does the appliance need to be serviced (cleaning the filters, refilling the water, descaling, etc.)? Is there a lot of condensation on certain surfaces? I would like to use the unit in the office (with many electrical appliances), as our air is dust-dry and the air quality is very poor.

I have been using the device for 3 weeks. Since yesterday I have been really shocked. When I opened the appliance, everything was contaminated. Regular cleaning, which means weekly, judging by what I found yesterday... Disgusting. And this in a modern Minergie flat.
