How often do you have to do the "deep cleaning programme" with the 150g citric acid powder? I know that the appliance indicates when it needs to be cleaned. However, I would be interested to know how often this happens on average.

It depends on what water hardness you have. I have hard water and the app says you have to do a deep clean after 650 hours. You can also control the water hardness in the app.

You can set the water hardness on the app, there are 3 degrees you can specify. You can google the water hardness by location and have it calculated. Every municipality has a different water hardness, mineral content, lime content, etc. If you run it on level 1 of 10, and have the water hardness set to high, then every 4-6 weeks (to clean). Tedious on my part as I have to weigh out the citric acid and it all drips.
