I used it to reboot my old PC a year ago before selling it, and installed it on my new one.

Yes you can use the same code that is no problem. Even if a mistake happens again ;-) Insert the CD and start again with the same code.

Yes, it worked.
I contacted MS customer service and they said that a licence can only run on one system at a time. They couldn't explain why mine still runs on 2 systems at the same time.
